Our Slice of Paradise

Yesterday morning we dropped our plans off to the architect. We're using Chris Needham who lives up the end of Smithville Road. Hans and Ilonka know him through Ariana being friends with his daughter. He currently doesn't have much on so is able to start it straight away. Hans suggested that we take a drive out to Miro Road so that Chris could get a visual of where we're planning on building. We went for a walk over the building site and talked about how to angle the house to ensure that we're getting the morning sun. 

Today Paul and I went out to our property again. We went right down to the back boundary, where the creek is and took some snapshots along the way. It's so peaceful walking through the paddock, listening to the water and watching the native birds. We saw a tui and a little fantail today. We also came across a magpie that kept swooping down at Paul. We guessed it's nest must have been close by.

Going Unconditional!

Celebrating because today we finally made our dream a reality! We have bought three acres and are going to build our first home together. It went unconditional today. So happy!! Will write a proper blog post tomorrow :)
